Description

Welcome to Textile and Design!

We’re excited to offer a new summer program, called Textile and Design this year to PCD Camp! Created and run by Mrs.Neel, this program nurtures creativity, hands-on learning, and eco-conscious thinking. Each week, students will visit the Creative Reuse Center to explore the power of repurposed materials and sustainable design practices.

Throughout the program, children will engage in a variety of textile arts including weaving, sewing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, and color theory to name a few! These activities build fine motor skills, encourage creative problem-solving, build confidence, and foster an appreciation for resourcefulness and environmental stewardship. Students will take home their creations throughout the week. All experience levels are welcome!
